2010 LUMINARIA SALES INSTRUCTIONS
AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY
RELAY FOR LIFE OF CARTHAGE
LUMINARIA CHAIR: CORA SHARROCK
- All Luminaria bags sell for $5 each.
- Luminaria sales will count toward team money, HOWEVER all Luminaria money must be kept separate from Team Fundraising money. Also, please keep track of sales numbers (not just dollars) for your Team. A spreadsheet with each team member's name and how many sold and the dollar amount could help you track this.
- Luminaria money will be turned in to Randy Frost. (Just like your regular team fundraising money).
- Attached forms will be used for Cora to keep track of "In Memory Of" and "In Honor Of" for the Luminaria Ceremony. These forms must be turned in to Cora every time you turn in money to Randy, as this will help her with her tracking. Keep one copy to have to make more copies for team members.
- While most people will decorate their own bags, some prefer to have either the team member decorate it or the Luminaria Committee. Any bags that need to be decorated will need tagged with the name of the person and whether it is "In Memory Of" or "In Honor Of".
- Bags must be turned in to Cora in a timely manner, especially any that need to be decorated. She will keep the bags until the day of Relay, where they will be in the Luminaria sales booth to be put out for the ceremony.
- Luminaria bags will be sold at Relay until 8:45 PM. The ceremony begins at 9:15 PM and this will give time to update the names for the ceremony. Our goal is to have a PowerPoint presentation of names this year.
- For any questions about Luminaria sales, please contact Cora at cora.sharrock@leggett.com.
